My Story

When I was 5 I decided I wanted to be a ballerina and a doctor... the ballerina part did not pan out. 😊 I was on track to med school when my first son was born... with health problems. I took a few years off school and during that time I continued to study my son and our growing family. I decided that pharmaceutical medicine was not for me. After our 3 child was born I went back to school, this time for natural medicine.

Once myself and my second son were diagnosed with celiac disease I put all my continuing education efforts into studying this odd autoimmune disease. 

Armed with a PhD in natural medicine, 3 different nutritionist certifications, MBSR and several other counselling certifications I am here to help you on your wellness journey. As both a patient of celiac and the mother of a celiac son I have been through all the crazy health battles but more importantly I understand the emotional rollercoaster that this diagnosis causes.

My Method

Celiac Health Counseling method is centered on a personalized and holistic approach to managing celiac disease. I begin by understanding your unique needs, lifestyle, and health goals. The guidance encompasses comprehensive education on gluten-free living, focusing on practical strategies for navigating dietary challenges. 

Beyond the physical aspects, we address the emotional dimensions of celiac disease, providing support to enhance overall well-being. By combining evidence-based nutritional advice, lifestyle adjustments, and emotional resilience strategies, together we create a roadmap tailored to your journey.

Through one-on-one coaching sessions, we work collaboratively to build sustainable habits, foster self-empowerment, and inspire a positive mindset. My method is not just about managing celiac disease; it's about thriving in every aspect of your gluten-free life.
