My Story
When I was 5 I decided I wanted to be a ballerina and a doctor... the ballerina part did not pan out. 😊 I was on track to med school when my first son was born... with health problems. I took a few years off school and during that time I continued to study my son and our growing family. I decided that pharmaceutical medicine was not for me. After our 3 child was born I went back to school, this time for natural medicine.
Once myself and my second son were diagnosed with celiac disease I put all my continuing education efforts into studying this odd autoimmune disease.
Armed with a PhD in natural medicine, 3 different nutritionist certifications, MBSR and several other counselling certifications I am here to help you on your wellness journey. As both a patient of celiac and the mother of a celiac son I have been through all the crazy health battles but more importantly I understand the emotional rollercoaster that this diagnosis causes.
